Polyester Forming Fabrics for Paper Mill Forming Section

Polyester forming fabric is a dewatering mesh belt commonly used in the paper machine forming department of the paper industry.

In the paper forming stage, the water with fibers is placed on the forming fabric of the large sleeve running at high speed. 

The paper fibers are consolidated on the surface of the forming fabric, and the fibers are dispersed on the forming fabric through mechanical parts and a vacuum box and

the moisture in the fabric is lost. At this point in the process, the moisture content of the cured paper leaving the forming zone is 80% to 84%.

Polyester forming fabric is a new product that has gradually developed with the social progress and the rapid development of science and technology. 

It is adopted by the paper industry. It was originally a single-layer polyester molding fabric, but now it is gradually replaced by a multilayer forming fabric. Forming fabric is finely woven from polyester monofilament and nylon monofilament.

At present, the three-layer forming fabric developed and produced by Taifeng Poyester screen is not only suitable for low- and medium-speed looms to produce low-end paper products, 

but also for high-speed paper machines to produce high-quality paper products. In particular, a wear-resistant thread is added in the middle of the weft, 

and the net structure is adjusted to make the polyester forming fabric more prominent. It has the advantages of long service life, wear resistance, anti-aging, low net consumption, and anti-fatigue.

According to the weaving type, polyester forming fabrics can be divided into the 4-shed single-layer fabric, 5-shed single-layer fabric, 8-shed single-layer fabric, 8-shed double-layer fabric, sixteen-shed 2.5 layer fabric, twenty-four-shed triple-layer fabric, etc.

4-shed and 5-shed series single layer fabric is standard type of polyester forming fabric in paper making, mainly used for producting cultural paper( single glue, double glue and color glue), printing paper, glazed paper, packing paper, common newsprint and so on. Suitable for

common fourdrinier paper machine

The 8-shed series single layer polyester fabric is suitable for producing the packing paper which be requested with big quantity, like kraft paper, cardboard, corrugated paper and so on. Also could be used for producing common printing paper. Suitable for common fourdrinier paper machine.

The 8-shed series double layer polyester forming fabric is suitable for producing quality printing paper which include dictionary paper, offset printing paper, 

newsprint and wrap paper. Also is could be used for producing tissu paper and the surface pulp, lining pulp, core pulp and bottom pulp of the board paper etc. Suitable for medium and high speed paper making machine.

The 16-shed series double and a half layer fabric is suitable for producing quality printing paper, such as offset printing paper, copperplate paper, newsprint and cigarette paper series ( wrap paper ,forming paper and filter tips paper), also is could be used for producing toilet paper, tissue paper and surface pulp, lining pulp, core pulp and bottom pulp of the board paepr etc. Suitable for medium and high speed paper making machine
